Terms & Condition for Warranty Service

1. Warranty Period
Edifier Malaysia provides warranty to the product for any defects in material or workmanship for a period of one(1) year from the original purchase date of the product according to local supplier warranty’s terms and conditions. Any defective or additional parts of the product which are replaced / removed by Inter-Asia in the course of repairing, if any, shall be the property of Edifier Malaysia. Even if Edifier Malaysia repairs/replaces the product, its original one year warranty term will not be extended.


2. Repair service after warranty expiration
Repair service after warranty period will include the cost of labour, material and all replacement parts required for proper functioning of the product.

3. Return of Products
All goods sold are not refundable. Products purchased from Edifier official store in other third party platforms will comply with return & refund policy set by respective platforms.


4. Warranty Covered Region

  • This Warranty agreement is only valid in Malaysia. It cannot be exchanged for a manufacturer’s limited warranty (Tourist Warranty)
  • The original purchase invoice must be issued in Malaysia. Invoice needs to be presented in order to verify the purchased region during the warranty claim process.
  • Warranty only valid and applicable to official products which are licensed for sale and purchase in Malaysia only. Parallel imports are excluded from this warranty.



5. Void of Warranty
This warranty shall not apply and no repair service shall be provided if the product:

  • Is used with products not sold or licensed by authorised dealer or official online store of Edifier Malaysia (Including but not limited to non-licensed enhancement devices, adaptors, power supply sources and computer program)
  • Is used for commercial purposes including rental or is modified, tempered with or otherwise. For example, repaired by an unauthorised person or entity.
  • Is damaged by act of God, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, wear and tear, unreasonable use, or by other causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship.
  • Has had the serial number altered, defaced, tampered with or removed. 
  • Is used in any way that is in breach of any system software licence agreement



6. Postage/ Transportation Costs
Should the product require repair service, the customer shall be responsible for transporting the product to Edifier Malaysia by hand or by post. Edifier Malaysia Shall not held responsible for any defect if the item is damaged/lost during post/delivery or by any third party. After the warranty/repair service is completed, the customer is responsible for picking up the product at the same location. Should customers prefer Edifier Malaysia to post the product back to them, there will be a delivery cost imposed.

8. Warranty Process Duration
Upon receiving the product for warranty claim or repair. It will take at least 2 weeks time for processing and repair. Shall there be any replacement of parts which needs special order, customer will be acknowledged on the completion and collection date by Edifier Malaysia.


9. Accordance with Law of Malaysia
The terms and conditions for warranty service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

*Edifier Malaysia reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions for warranty service or related repair services without prior notice.
