G1500 First Peek

First Look

The Edifier G1500 has a futuristic diagonal outlook design. There are 2 “Hecate” logo branding at the bottom front of both speakers. The front grill is made of metal and provide a great protection for the inner drivers and components.

The diagonal slanted firing design for best close range sound effects.

The Connection Wire

At the back of the speakers there are few wire attached to it. the R speaker has 3 wires, a USB port, AUX, and another wire connecting to L speaker.

The USB cable can use as audio streaming input as well as for power source. The AUX connector allows for AUX devices connection.

The Interface

4 buttons are located on top right corner of the main (R) speaker:

• Power Button: long press to turn on/off, short press to change input mode
• + button: Increase volume
• – button: Decrease volume
• “G” button: double press to change light mode, short press to change between Game/Music/Movie mode.

RGB lighting

There are 2 RGB LED stripes on each speaker to add in aesthetic value to your gaming setup.

Sound Quality

Final Thoughts

Edifier G1500 feature a vertical tower shape design. It minimizes your desktop space usage. The USB power reduces the need of power socket. you can directly connect to your PC USB port to function. However this will tradeoff some of the power and bass quality. With this power it is excellent to use as a desktop near field audio speaker.
